Scheduling Tips for Myofascial Release
Weekly treatment, in the beginning, is strongly suggested for best results until you reach a maintenance schedule. I see new clients once a week for 6 weeks in the beginning. This frequency gives us the time needed to begin making changes to the body. As a partnership, we will discuss your treatment goals and options for achieving those goals in a timely and healthy manner. Multiple treatments in a small time frame are extremely helpful in quickening your progress.
The calendar is currently scheduled out 8 weeks for appointments so it is recommended that you schedule enough sessions so you do not have a large gap after your first appointment.
New clients are encouraged to book more than one session initially. Weekly treatment is recommended. MFR is not a ‘one and done’ approach so I recommend three treatments to know if MFR is going to be the therapy for you. If you decide MFR isn’t the therapy for you, you can cancel your other appointments as long as the 24-hour cancellation policy is respected.
Established clients are encouraged to stay on top of their appointments and schedule ahead so that they don’t miss a few weeks of treatment unexpectedly.

Are you looking for something deeper? Romiromi is deep tissue bodywork grounded in Māori healing principles. Pressure is applied using hands, elbows, knees, feet, and rākau (wooden stick) to stimulate haemata — pressure points throughout the body — releasing tension, unblocking energy, and restoring natural flow and circulation. It is intense, transformative work, but always meeting the needs of the receiver.
Romiromi is not a massage and is performed with the client fully clothed. Please bring comfortable clothing that you can move around in.
